Slow justice for Danielle
Article Abstract:
Sally Murphy, whose daughter Danielle suffered cerebral palsy at birth, feels very angry that it has taken many years to obtain compensation from the hospital where Danielle was born. She has had a long legal battle, but has finally won her case, and in 1999 will receive a large compensation payment. She rejects the views of those who think that she is very lucky to receive a large sum of money, pointing out that she would much rather see Danielle become independent.
