Failure under the hammer
Article Abstract:
Commercial auctioneers deal with many liquidation auctions during the recession when about 2,000 companies a month have been going into liquidation. All their physical assets, plant, tools and office equipment have to be disposed of. Buyers are dealers and foreign businessmen. Second-hand equipment can usually be imported duty-free. Third World purchasers appreciate the old-fashioned, mechanical equipment.

Is your little angel a computer killer?
Article Abstract:
Recent studies by psychologists are starting to provide firm evidence that children can become addicted to video or computer games. In some cases, children have been known to steal money to buy new games cartridges or to stop attending school. The most worrying finding is that children can become more violent as a result of playing video games.
