Success will lie in the small print
Article Abstract:
New listings magazine Time Out New York will fill a gap in the New York publications market, according to Tony Elliott, who created Time Out, the London listings magazine. He is confident that the magazine will be extremely successful, but observers believe that he is taking a considerable risk. Time Out itself has always enjoyed strong sales, but other ventures established by Elliott have proved unprofitable. The New York publication will encounter some strong competition.

They're not bitter, they're for Blair
Article Abstract:
The town of Barnsley, UK, has been a stronghold of the Labour party for many years, with most residents having been brought up to see supporting the party as a natural thing to do. Against this background, there was some opposition to Labour party leader Tony Blair's plans for modernising the party, which were seen as a move away from socialist democracy. However, most Labour supporters have now come to accept that Tony Blair has taken a sensible, realistic approach.

Mr and Mrs Wright's ultimate artefact
Article Abstract:
Joan and Gordon Wright committed suicide at their home in Harrogate, Yorkshire, England, after they had been arrested on 13 Sep 1991, when all the pictures in their house were forcibly removed. They were charged with criminal deception as their art business sold paintings artificially aged and fraudulently signed. The couple sent a letter to the local paper, the 'Harrogate Advertiser,' explaining their innocence and the reasons for their suicide.
