Survival of the fattest
Article Abstract:
Many tourists travel to the Galapagos Islands to see the many sea lions and birds there. There are also many other fascinating animals, including yellow land iguanas and tiny lava lizards. The animals seem completely fearless, with the sea lions even appearing to play with the tourists who swim with them. There are some serious threats to the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands, including the dogs and cats introduced there. Many of these have turned feral and eat the iguanas and birds.
