Take to the water and revisit France
Article Abstract:
Travelling on the waterways of Medoc, France, gives visitors a fascinating insight into ordinary life in the region, which is relatively isolated and has therefore remained more unchanged than other parts of France. Visitors can participate in wine-tours of well-known chateau, but may prefer to reject conventional tourism. It is possible to stay on campsites or in cheap hotels, thus having more contact with ordinary people and their everyday activities, such as fishing.

So near, so far
Article Abstract:
It is common for Brittany, France, to be compared with Cornwall, England, but these two places are in fact quite dissimilar. Brittany offers great elemental beauty, especially through its vast open spaces and sculptural rock. It is particularly worth visiting the medieval town of Dinan, along with Ile de Brehat, an archipelago of pink rock close to Pointe de l'Arcouest, and Concarneau, where there are markets on Mondays and Fridays.
