What if ...
Article Abstract:
There have been many cases where someone who is now a famous film actor only achieved this status because he or she took on a role which another actor had rejected. This happened to Sharon Stone, for example, who took the role in 'Basic Instinct' which Michelle Pfeiffer had turned down, and to Humphrey Bogart, who took the part in 'Casablanca' which had been rejected by Ronald Reagan. In many cases, the actor who eventually took the role has become so closely associated with it that it is hard to imagine the first choice actor in that role.
