Taking a crack at the Mozart
Article Abstract:
The police raided the low-rise Mozart estate in Westminster, west London, England, which had been threatened by drug dealers, on May 19, 1993. The Mozart estate was built to provide socialising features, but these encouraged burglary and mugging, so walkways had to be removed. Residents had complained for a year about the open activity of drug dealers and their shooting and arson. Fathers of the Ghetto, a group of men from the area, meets to resume dignity and gentlemanly behaviour.

A tortured soul in search of peace
Article Abstract:
The case of Sara Thornton, who stabbed her husband after suffering constant violence from him, served to highlight the plight of women in her position in the UK. She was cleared of murder, and has recently been convicted of manslaughter. She accepts that she must be punished for what she did, but does not feel any guilt for hurting her husband's family. She presents a very strong image, but underneath is very disturbed and vulnerable.
