Taking sides in deadly game of blame
Article Abstract:
It is vital to come to terms with collective and individual guilt for the massacre of both Serbs and Muslims in Bosnia if reconciliation is to be achieved. It is clearly impossible to prosecute all those who were involved in war crimes in Bosnia, so the international war crimes tribunal is attempting to focus on the worst cases and those which can be linked clearly with political and military leaders. True peace will not be achieved until war crimes are resolved.

Arithmetic of death that does not add up
Article Abstract:
The Dayton peace agreement is intended to form the basis for a united, multi-national Bosnia, but there are still many unanswered questions. It is particularly important to allocate guilt for the atrocities of the war if the peace is to be really effective. The Serb leadership clearly sought to rid its territory of all non-Serbs, while the Bosnian government took a softer approach, attempting to hold together the country and its people.
