Fear of bloodbath as eerie silence falls on Kunduz

The Northern Alliance has stated that it will resume military action against Kunduz, Afghanistan, shortly if an agreement is not reached on a Taliban surrender. It is believed that foreign Taliban volunteers inside the city have committed themselves to fight until the bitter end unless they receive a safe passage out.
