The US administration has given little information about the presence in Afghanistan of commandos and special forces units. However, it is believed that these units have been providing the intelligence required to improve the accuracy of air strikes.

Hundreds of US marines sent in to find bin Laden
Article Abstract:
The US is using a number of strategies as it seeks to find terrorist leader Osama bin Laden. A large reward is being offered to ordinary Afghans for information about bin Laden's whereabouts, and the US is also using high technology to identify caves where he could be hiding.
