Tax on men? It's dafter than it sounds
Article Abstract:
A special tax should be imposed on men because they are mainly responsible for crime, according to US feminist psychologist June Stephenson. This seems a reasonable suggestion in a modern society where young men in particular are becoming a separate warrior class, showing considerable aggression as they protect their territory. Furthermore, it also corresponds with a general trend in tax policy, with some US states already considering imposing higher taxes on those who require more resources, such as smokers and heavy drinkers. However, many problems could develop if this approach were taken to extremes.

The recent controversy over the use of 12.5 million pounds sterling of National Lottery funds to buy Winston Churchill's papers could mark the beginning of growing public concern about the use of lottery funds.
