Cultivating a taste for death
Article Abstract:
The Portfolio Gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland, is currently staging an exhibition of the work of artist Andres Serrano. His work has attracted considerable controversy, often being seen as containing unacceptable images. He attributes this to the time he spent as a street-dealing drug addict. The exhibition includes some photographs taken in a public morgue.

Article Abstract:
The Hayward Gallery is currently showing the largest ever exhibition of the work of painter, sculptor and performer Yves Klein. It mixes elements of purity, vulgarity, pretension and calm, and has a strong impact on the visitor. He is most well known for his blue monochrome paintings and for his anthropometries, and embraced many Utopian ideals.
