Significant opportunities are arising for independent record labels as the major record labels drop some bands, according to Domino Records founder Laurence Bell. Independent record labels are in a strong position to offer these bands alternative opportunities. He believes that smaller record labels take better care of artists than larger ones. He also emphasizes that Domino would never release a record in which it did not believe.
