The Full Moonty
Article Abstract:
There is a small group of dedicated people who like to travel around the world to view every total eclipse of the sun. Viewing a total eclipse can sometimes present considerable difficulties. It is necessary to identify a location which can be reached relatively easily and will be free of cloud cover. Those who like viewing total eclipses also seek venues with ambience. The favoured site for the 1998 total eclipse is the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao.

Coming (almost) full circle
Article Abstract:
The Stone Age site at Avebury, England, tends to receive much less attention than Stonehenge, but is in fact well worth visiting. The Avebury stone circle was originally made up of 98 stones, but many have now fallen or are missing. However, the remaining stones are still extremely impressive. The site also has an interesting museum. It is also worth visiting nearby West Kennet Long Barrow, a burial place located beneath layers of turf.
