Rogue advertisers eye city marathon
Article Abstract:
The annual marathon race in London, England, is a very high profile event. For this reason, producers of sports-related goods are very keen to have a high advertising profile there. Some are willing to official sponsor the marathon, while others use other techniques to gain publicity. It is likely that considerable efforts will be made to put up unofficial advertising along the route of the race, but race officials will attempt to ensure that it is removed before the race begins.

The Sons of Cornwall are on the march, and this time it's away from London
Article Abstract:
There is now a strong sense in Cornwall that the region has a local identity separate from that of the UK as a whole. This has been prompted by a revival in Celtic language and culture and by the view that the English have been guilty of 'racism' against the Cornish. The Cornish Nationalist party, which will put forward a record number of candidates in the next general election, is calling for a Cornish assembly and the teaching of the Cornish language in schools.
