The fast life and violent death of Danny the Hood
Article Abstract:
Detectives in Scandinavia believe that the murder of Daniel Fitzpatrick, President of the feared biker gang Brodraskapet, The Brotherhood, will bring an end to the violent conflict between biker gangs that has led to 12 murders and 39 attempted killings since 1996. Both within prison and outside, members of The Brotherhood have established contacts with the Hell's Angels, and it is alleged that Brotherhood members have undertaken contracts for Hell's Angels. Fitzpatrick very quickly became involved in extortions following his release from prison in Stockholm, Sweden, in Jan 1998.

A black day in Provence
Article Abstract:
It is unclear what prompted 16-year-old Eric Borel to murder 13 people in the French villages of Sollies-Pont and Cuers before committing suicide. It is believed that he did not get on well with his stepfather, who was one of the victims. Initially, police portrayed him as a neo-Nazi who was obsessed with violence and who had become mentally unstable following the recent death of his father. However, it soon became clear that his father had not in fact died and that he had little interest in politics.
