Article Abstract:
The residents of the Cayman Islands are keen to see the islands remain one of the British Dependent Territories. However, the lifestyle there is greatly influenced by US culture, and it is more common for people from the Cayman Islands to travel to the US than to the UK. Caymanians are allowed to enter the US without a visa, but are prevented by law from settling in the UK. The three islands which make up the Cayman Islands are only small, but have managed to develop a thriving economy.
