Article Abstract:
Singer Catherine Bott believes that Schubert's piano sonatas are the most sublime music ever composed, even though she is very closely associated with Early Music and the music of the Baroque. She is very keen to characterize in her singing, and she can certainly be seen as having psychological integrity to her singing. She does not believe that her voice is entirely suited to opera, and in any case is not really interested in opera. She has always enjoyed Baroque music, probably because of its structure and passion.

Steve Barrow, creative head of Blood and Fire Records, a reggae reissue label, has been behind the company's release of six albums over the last 12 months. He refers to reggae's 'authenticity,' and claims that reggae is directly linked with people's everyday experience.
