UK: SCOTTISH POWER NAMES FINANCE DIRECTOR
Article Abstract:
Scottish Power named David Nish as its finance director on 13 December 1999, with Ian Russell to divest the role but remain deputy chief executive of the UK-based utility group. Mr Nish, who is deputy finance director at present, was instrumental in Scottish Power's GB[pound] 4bn acquisition of US-based PacifiCorp. Meanwhile, UK-based water and electricity group, United Utilities, has named Simon Batey as its new group finance director. Mr Batey will replace Bob Ferguson and join the company on 1 April 2000.
