Vanessa Brown
Article Abstract:
Vanessa Brown was an actress who performed the role of Jane in 'Tarzan and the Slave Girl' and who appeared on stage as well as in movies. She argued that women with minds were acceptable in Hollywood if they hid their minds behind low-cut bosoms. Her performance in 'The Seven Year Itch' on Broadway was well received, and she did not rate the movie version highly, considering the direction to be heavy handed. She was also an author, writing a book, and articles and reviews for journals.
