Was it rescue or revenge?
Article Abstract:
The vast majority of war crimes in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, took place after Nato had instigated air attacks against the province. Many ethnic Albanian lives would have been saved if Nato had been willing to send ground troops into Kosovo from the beginning of the conflict. Indeed, large numbers of ethnic Albanians would not have been driven from their homes at all if Nato had tried to resolve the Kosovo crisis when the Albanians first called for help in 1995. Nato is now seeking to ignore the fact that its bombs killed hundreds of Serb and Albanian civilians.

Can we avoid another war?
Article Abstract:
One way to avoid full-scale Nato military action in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, may be to arrest war criminals Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadjic, who bear the greatest responsibility for large numbers of rapes and deaths among Bosnian Muslims. Arresting these two men would give a clear warning to Slobodan Milosevic. However, Nato will not invade Serbia if Milosevic refuses to give way, and has no intention of risking its troops to protect the Kosovo Albanians.

Are the governments of Nato guilty of committing a heinous war crime?
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning Nato's use of depleted uranium weapons in Bosnia in 1995 and Serbia in 1999 are discussed. Nato seems to want to ignore evidence that depleted uranium has caused cancers among the residents of places where these weapons were used.
