Welcome to planet porn
Article Abstract:
There has been a significant transition in socio-sexual attitudes in the UK since the 1950s. Pornography has now become much more mainstream, and films and television programmes can show quite explicit scenes without really attracting any comment at all. There is no longer any debate about the possible links between pornography and art, and no attempt is made to justify most pornographic material on aesthetic grounds. In many cases, sexual acts portrayed on film or television go further than many people would do in real life, while the language is also much stronger than many people would use.

Emergency on planet earth
Article Abstract:
WaterAid always works with partners in every country in which it funds water supply projects. It is particularly keen to work with women, as they are almost exclusively responsible for fetching water and therefore place a high priority on improving water supply. Community participation is essential, and machinery and hardware must be simple and appropriate for local conditions. Safe water is only one element in improving the quality of life of vast numbers of people, and attention must also be given to effective hygiene and sanitation education.
