Catch them by the hind legs
Article Abstract:
Covering political issues became intolerable in the mid-1980s, according to cartoonist Ralph Steadman. However, he has now returned to the attack, focusing particularly on satirising the legs of politicians. He holds strongly socialist views, and his new work contains a great deal of moral outrage at what he regards as the failure of the Conservative government to take action on key issues. He refuses to show politicians' faces, as he feels that this may flatter his targets.

Culloden without the bloodshed
Article Abstract:
There has been a strong revival in nationalist sentiment in Scotland over recent years, and an Edinburgh Parliament could be in operation as early as 1999 if the Labour party wins the next general election. This would have serious consequences for the future of the British Union. A Scottish parliament could prompt a shift towards nationalism in England too, bringing reforms which the government in London had not anticipated.
