What's love got to do with it?
Article Abstract:
Musician Ike Turner believes that Tina, his ex-wife, sought to be the type of woman she thought he wanted her to be. He regards their time together as a lie, as she gave the impression that what he did was of no concern to her. He believes that he did many things right in their relationship, although he expresses regret for what he put her through. He attributes her three suicide attempts to his teasing her about being too tired to go onstage with her.
