Article Abstract:
Tim Roth has directed 'The War Zone' which is a surprising first effort for him as a director since it is a quiet, spartan movie, in contrast to Roth's extrovert image. He has appeared in a number of movies as an actor, and they include 'Pulp Fiction and 'Reservoir Dogs'. Roth sought to make a beautiful movie, and is pleased that 'The War Zone' is a formal work. The movie deals with sexual abuse and is based on a novel by Alexander Stuart. Roth does not comment when asked about the extent to which the movie is autobiographical.

Article Abstract:
Indian film director Karan Johar has shot part of the film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' ('Something Happened in My Heart') in Scotland. Indians regard Scotland as a very exotic location, and Yosh Kohar, the film's producer, feels that setting part of the action in Scotland gives the film a sense of history. Scotland has become increasingly popular among Indian filmmakers, even though most Indian films are extremely culturally specific.
