Why I hate Easter
Article Abstract:
Easter can be seen negatively as a time when death enters society for a time. At the end of a century when there has been so much human suffering, it seems very strange to seek redemption in the short period between Easter and Pentecost allegedly allotted 2,000 years ago to someone who claimed to be the Messiah. Easter seems all the more difficult to comprehend because it never falls on exactly the same date each year.

Justice for the Simian One
Article Abstract:
The fictional character King Kong has frequently been portrayed very negatively in films and books. It is now time for him to be seen in a more flattering light as a hero of the primal and the natural. He should be admired for defying attempts by small-minded people to regiment life and deny the natural world, and should be seen as identifying what is essentially human.
