Why I took a knife to Gaultier
Article Abstract:
Fashion designer Robert Cary-Williams believes that he is a very destructive person. However, he feels that his creativity establishes a presence in the midst of his destructive urges. He feels that his spring/summer 2000 collection, which will be unveiled at London Fashion Week, is more finished and controlled than past collections. He regards his work as both ugly and beautiful, with a delicate effect resulting from the savagery with which it is created.
