Why a Manhattan secretary won't let Israel forget the massacre at Qana
Article Abstract:
It is the responsibility of American Jews to speak out against the acts of violence which have been perpetrated by the Israeli government in Lebanon, according to Eva Stern. She feels that American Jews are wrong not to speak out against the massacre of a large number of civilians at Qana by Israeli troops. Furthermore, it is important to reject the assumption that Israel represents all Jewish people. It is vital to support the human rights of non-Jews whose rights are being violated by the Jewish state.

Massacre in sanctuary
Article Abstract:
An Israeli attack on a UN base in southern Lebanon which had become a sanctuary for many civilian refugees has left at least 101 people dead. The base was shelled for at least 10 minutes after the initial attack, and many of the buildings were burned out. The Israelis were fully aware that there were many civilians at the base, but still went ahead with the attack. This has cause outrage in Lebanon, where the Israeli attacks over recent days have caused a total of 206 deaths.

Massacre film puts Israel in dock
Article Abstract:
A colour videotape filmed by a UN soldier near the UN base at Qana, Lebanon, where more than 100 Lebanese civilians were massacred in shelling in Apr 1996, shows an Israeli pilotless reconnaissance aircraft flying over the base at the height of the shelling. This has provided firm evidence for UN investigators that the Israelis deliberately targeted the base and were fully aware that it contained a large number of refugees. This has been denied by Israel.
