Words of wisdom for lost souls
Article Abstract:
Most modern discussion lacks glimpses into the mystery of human existence, according to priest, poet, philosopher and Hegelian scholar John O'Donohue. In his book 'Anam Cara: Spiritual Wisdom from the Celtic World,' he aimed to celebrate the mysterious world, rather than critique it. He is keen to investigate what spirituality of the past can tell about what is missing from present daily reality. He was seeking to offer a positive creative celebration of the spiritual, giving hope to people caught up in materialism.

For those who prefer not to stay in hotels, Knottingley has a number of locations offering bed and breakfast accommodation. Some can be rather rough, and it may be necessary to share a room when there is high demand for accommodation. At certain pubs, visitors may encounter guests in the bar who are extremely drunk and potentially violent.
