The increase in the number of terrorist revelations has resulted in new technological fixes that could provide some help in increasing security levels. Some of them include backscatter x-ray technology, which captures the radiation bounced back from the object, millimeter-wave sensors for personal screening, quadrupole resonance to detect things like bombs in shoes and neutron-bombarding devices.
