Turbine system developed to harvest energy of deep tidal streams
Article Abstract:
The details pertaining to the construction of semisubmersible turbine system, termed as, Pentland Firth system, which can harvest the energy of deep tidal currents, are presented. The system is capable of generating as much energy as a 1,2MW nuclear power plant.
