A decision making framework for software total quality management
Article Abstract:
A general problem solving model developed by Herbert Simon and George Huber was proposed to address several aspects of software quality. The model specifically aims to integrate the concept of quality throughout the software development cycle and enhance the total quality management of software production. The model is divided into five phases, namely intelligence, design, choice, implementation and monitoring.

Managing the concurrent development of large-scale software systems
Article Abstract:
Concurrent engineering has the potential to decrease large-scale software development times four-fold, with product quality retained or improved. Process modeling, process management and computer based management support systems were incorporated into the software development process. The success of this kind of concurrent development process is posited on information flow between workgroups.
