Bid for Better Beef Gives Japan a Leg Up on Cattle
Article Abstract:
Following the first successful cloning of an adult animal in 1997 there have been many attempts by the Japanese to clone cattle. Yukio Tsunoda, a professor at Kinki University in Nara, Japan, and a team of researchers have published a report detailing their attempts to clone eight calves from the cells of an adult cow. The research has many implications for science as well as for Japan's livestock industry.

The designs of telescopes have in the past hindered scientists to clearly observe gamma rays and infernoes caused by the black hole. Featured are deatils of the construction of high-powered instruments that are ground-based which will ease and clarify views of gamma rays. The importance of these rays and what they provide for astronomers are given.
