What anions do to N-H containing receptors
Article Abstract:
The examples of N-H receptors containing pyrrole and urea subunits are described and the stability of their H-bond complexes with a variety of anions is discussed. It is demonstrated that the stability of 1:1 complexes is strictly related to the acidic tendencies of the receptor and to the basic properties of the anion.

Chemomechanical functionalization and patterning of silicon
Article Abstract:
The chemomechanical method is described to be a convenient tool for functionalizing and patterning silicon. The technique consists of wetting a silicon surface to a reactive chemical and than scribing and this leads to monolayer formation.
