Capturing greenhouse gases
Article Abstract:
Researchers are exploring methods of carbon sequestration to protect Earth's climate from greenhouse gases. Projects are underway to capture carbon dioxide from stationary sources and inject it underground or into the ocean. The environmental and economic aspects of carbon sequestration are discussed.

A research team of Tomohiro Kono of the Tokyo University of Agriculture created mice from two unfertilized eggs. The process that created the mice is akin to parthenogenesis, in which an unfertilized egg develops on its own and produces viable offspring.
