Cause and effect
Article Abstract:
Marine researchers are lamenting the adverse effects of causeways and dams in Canada's Maritime provinces. Built in the 1950s and the 1960s, these structures have been impeding river flow and disrupting watersheds. They are also obstructing the migration of fish which travel up the rivers to spawn.
