The United States is witness to numerous migrations, as many citizens are constantly moving from one part of the country to another. In addition, some 14 million residents move to other countries annually, while an estimated 840,000 illegal immigrants enter the US in the same time frame.

Civic culture: Variable sense of civic duty affects voter turnout
Article Abstract:
Political scientists have measured civic culture known as civic republicanism among the ancestry groups in the U.S. where the Americans of Scandinavian and British descent have the highest levels of civic culture with those of French, Irish and Dutch descent. It is stated that education, contributes to the ethos of civic culture and play an independent role in voter turnout.

Living together: in the U.S. cohabitation is here to stay
Article Abstract:
The advantages and disadvantages of a cohabitation family are discussed. Some evidence supports that cohabitation is a good training for marriage, but it lacks personal relationship and can end in discord and divorce.
