Health experts have been able to lessen the fatality of prostate cancer through the use of a method called noninvasive screening test, which determines the presence of microscopic tumors. The test seeks to identify a considerable increase in the level of prostate-specific antigen.

New weapons against prostate cancer

The war against freezer burn

Issues are presented concerning the development of an antifreeze glycoprotein which can be used to preserve fruit in freezing conditions without the occurrence of freezer burn. The implications for organ transplants are discussed.
