Controlling Artificial Atoms
Article Abstract:
Semiconductor quantum dots have unique optical and transport properties, and offer promise in the development of laser diodes, logic devices, and optical computing quantum units. They are technologically more practical than atoms, but refining of the dephasing time must be achieved.

Does macroscopic quantum coherence occur in ferritin?
Article Abstract:
The observed resonance of 24.mK in natural and artificial ferritin proteins cannot be attributed to quantum oscillations of the magnetic moment between two equilibrium orientations if the magnetic moment of the ferritin molecules is blocked below 5K.
