Article Abstract:
The project was undertaken to explore a rich Paleolithic site for evidence of hominid adaptation to shifting environments. Dr. Shanti Pappu and his project team will work to explore test pits scattered across the 50,000-square-meter site to determine the distribution of Stone Age aircrafts and survey the river basin by jeep for related prehistoric sites.

The project aims to excavate shell middens to determine the impact of prehistoric humans on their environment. Dr. Bruce Bourque and his project team will excavate a promising array of middens in Muscongus Bay, systematically taking the layers away and recording the location of all significant airfacts.

The project aims to excavate at the valley of the Guadix-Baza basin in Andalusia to establish when and how humans first came to Europe. Dr. Josep Gibert Clols and his project team will excavate the sites, remove fossils and artifacts and map the remains.
