Effects of thermal treatment on mineralogy and heavy metal behavior in iron oxide stabilized air pollution control residues
Article Abstract:
This study investigates the thermal treatment municipal solid waste incineration-produced air pollution control (APC) resides prior to landfill. The effects of heating two APC residues that have been treated by the Ferrox process are studied in terms of changes in iron oxide characteristics and heavy metal availability.
