Engineering education goes digital with World Wide Web database
Article Abstract:
Columbia University's Architectural Anatomy Database is being used by architecture and civil engineering students to gain access to the World Wide Web and as an aid to their structural analysis studies. The Drexel University and Ohio State University are also using the system on an experimental basis. Expansion for the project includes teleconferencing via the International Services Digital Network to allow the participation of experts in classroom instructions.
