Engineers use freight tunnel for underground light-rail station in New Jersey
Article Abstract:
The Bergenline Avenue station, part of New Jersey Transit's Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, which would receive its own underground light-rail station, is expected to serve Union City, West New York, North Bergen and Weehawken. The light-rail station's construction began in 2002 and is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2005.
