Giant TBMs will bore tunnels under Yangtze River at Nanjing
Article Abstract:
Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel Corporation Ltd., a public-private entity in China, is planning to build a pair of tunnels under the Yangtze River at Nanjing by the end of 2009. The Cowi A/S of Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, which is dealing with the Nanjing project, is planning to implement giant tunnel boring machines in this operation.

Design of Shanghai Skyscraper altered
Article Abstract:
The design of Shanghai World Financial Center (WFC), the tallest building in Shanghai, which would be completed in 2007 is reconfigured to trapezoidal opening at the top from round shape, is discussed. The change in design is to avoid the resemblance to the Japanese flag and to bring fresh look to the building.
