Enhanced air-monitoring
Article Abstract:
The new air-monitoring requirements set out in the Clean Air Act Amendments call on industrial entities to improve their air emissions monitoring efforts by Apr. 30, 1995. The new Republican majority is trying to put the new rule on hold but EPA officials state that such a freeze would have little impact since the agency will gradually introduce monitoring requirements. The rule is expected to have significant implications for manufacturers of monitoring devices and related equipment.
