Article Abstract:
The project aims to monitor bird migration on two continents to help restore declining populations and manage habitat change. Dr. Gabor Lovei, Dr. Tibor Csorgo, Dr. Sergio Scebba, Dr. Samuel Muchai and his project team will capture birds to gain insights into how birds refuel during migration, and what their condition tells about habitat degradation along the way.

Maneless and misunderstood
Article Abstract:
The annual cycles of lions in Acacia-Commiphora woodlands that cover the Greater Tsavo Ecosystem is being monitored for determining whether the lions have adapted to the drought prone semi-arid environment. Findings suggest that the frequency of conflicts between the lion and human beings may be influenced by the seasonal cycle of droughts.
