Evolved for cancer?
Article Abstract:
Natural selection, which lacks the power to eliminate cancer and has only a limited ability to prevent it, may have actually provided tools to enable cancer's development or aggressiveness. Scientists hope to find clues to help fight cancer by studying the evolutionary history of the disorder in humans.
