Coupling SoilFug Model and GIS for Predicting Pesticide Pollution of Surface Water at Watershed Level
Article Abstract:
This study examines SoilFug, a multimedia fungacity-based model, is predicting pollution by agricultural pesticides in an Italian river basin. The study concluded that such an approach is a useful tool for predicting chemical distribution in river basins.

Factors controlling the rate of DDE dechlorination to DDMU in Palos Verdes margin sediments under anaerobic conditions
Article Abstract:
The dechlorination rate of DDE to DDMU in the presence of sulphur off the coast of the Palos Verdes Peninsula is discussed. Temperature is also considered a factor in the process of dechlorination in Palos Verdes sediments.

Flow injection amperometric enzyme biosensor for direct determination of organophosphate nerve agents
Article Abstract:
A flow injection amperometric biosensor (FIAB) is used to determine the presence of synthetic organophosphorus (OP) compounds paraoxon and methyl parathion. Graphs show the configuration of the FIAB and the measurement results.
