The FastShip containership design employs the latest in hull and jet propulsion technology to propel the FastShip containership at 45 knots. FastShip used an innovative monohull design, with a deep V-shaped bow and a wide shallow rear to produce a lifting effect that negates the drag formed by the captive wave.
