God's dead dog and other roadkills
Article Abstract:
An overview is presented of roadkills on Canadian roads, which reach a peak in the spring season when young begin to walk, migrating animals arrive in the region and hibernating animals wake up and begin to move. The problem is particularly acute in Canada, which has a high level of vehicle ownership.

Capelin: so excellent a fish
